Biozyme utilizes dried cultures of hetrophic bacteria and enzymes to instantly activate upon contact with water. It immediately helps "kick start" the biological process required to maintain a healthy aquarium. Biozyme can be used with live plants and fish. It is excellent for use in new or established aquariums and helps to break down organic build-up in gravel beds. The perfect product to use to increase an established filter's effectiveness or reactivate filters damaged by medications. Biozyme can also be used in brine shrimp containers to help control ammonia build-up. Biozyme is available in both freshwater and saltwater formulas. An 8 gram container treats 500 gallons of aquarium water.
