The Rambo 9600 heavy-duty air pump with very high end air pressure volume and although can be used for many uses, is primarily built as a high end battery backup airpump system for the aquarium. The Rambo Air Pump is awesome and more than a battery backup. Instead of installing batteries every day or when a black out occurs which you may not always be home for, Rambo runs on A/C electrical first and in the event of a black out whether you are home or not automatically switches to internal battery back up and provides two lines with two levels of power low or high for over 12 hours of solid hard core pumping. It's not one of those cheapy weak pumps. When power black outs are restored to normal, all by itself it reverts back on and starts recharging for the next one. Everything is Automatic and you dont' have to do anything or be at home to worry about it.

Also included are battery cables for a car cigerette lighter, small cable jumpers for a duracell backup for "days" not hours of battery life, and it's covered in a plastic cover to protect it from any moisture.
