It was really intended for use in lakes, reefs, ocean exploration, pools and other recreational uses but I started using them in my reef setups so I can watch any of my tanks from my office at anytime from a remote computer anywhere.  It will record the video or stream it for you live to your website!  Really impress your customers and visitors or just have a lot of fun being able to watch your fish or reef tank right from your own bedroom TV if you wanted.  The potential uses are great, the video is great, you can direct the camera into any direction and is a professional piece of equipment with over 66' feet of cable and accessories to let you have a lot of fun.  Take it on a boat the next time you hit a dive spot and scope out the area by feeding it right to your video camera on board your boat before even jumping in to find that right honey hole of a reef spot or that perfect cave.  For Dive Masters or those that don't dive, be able to explore the reef, watch divers, and other right from the boat.  Are you into fishing, look for the fish and fish spots along the lake.  Do you ice fish, this is a great item to look down past the ice.  My wife who is a school teacher uses this in her coriculum in teaching her students about animals and fish and no, it doesn't have to be used just under water!  She uses it in her hermit crab tanks, reptile tank, etc but educational use is only limited to your imagination!
