The Pocillopora (Assorted) has a pink, pink-tan, pink-brown, tan or brown color. Small polyp stony coral (SPS). Planktivore. It likes to eat Filter feeding invert food only. The Pocillopora species is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates. Many consider the Pocillopora species a high-maintenance specimen. Has strong lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. The Cauliflower Pocillopora, Brush Coral, Clustered Coral, Cauliflower Coral, Lace Coral, Warty Coral requires strong water flow. The Pocillopora Coral is considered a difficult coral to acclimate. Once established it will become a very hardy coral as far as the SPS Corals are considered. This coral is very aggressive and it will sting any coral it comes in contact with. For good growth be sure to keep calcium levels stable and provide good water quality, strong flow, and strong light. Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). The Pocillopora (Assorted) is commonly collected from Indo-Pacific. Due to variations in growth of Corals from depth, environment, flow, etc. it is impossible to pinpoint exact sizes.
