The Red Peacock Voiltan should be fed a variety of both meaty and vegetable-based foods. Feed live and frozen brine shrimp along with Spirulina-based flake and pellet foods.
The Red Peacock does well in an aquarium that is at least 50 gallons with plenty of rocks for territories and a sandy bottom.The Red Peacock comes from years of breeding and is not a naturally occurring strain. It is red in coloration and has the same form as the other Peacock Cichlids of the same family.
