The Long Tentacle Anemone has a brown, gray, tan, lavendar, cream, pink, green color. Carnivore. It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis Shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open. Likes to have very small bits of raw shrimp or silversides.. The Macrodactyla doreensis is generally aggressive toward other tankmates. Many consider the Macrodactyla doreensis a medium-maintenance specimen. Has strong lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism.
