General Information
These beautiful species are actually a mutation of the crystal red shrimp. The "golden" gene is recessive. Individuals in Germany have noted that crossing Golden CRS with normal CRS result in CRS with a lot of white but of a poor intensity.
Appearance
Golden CRS have a pinkish orange or a yellow orange color in their flesh and a white outer shell. Some individuals have a more solid white outer shell then others and are often considered a higher grade even though there are no criteria for grading Golden CRS. The main difference between a Golden Bee and a Pure White CRS is just that. One will have a golden or dirty white color as seen in this photo while a CRS or CBS that has been bred over and over for it's pure white quality is evident and the shrimp is very white in color like the Mosura but with no red or black markings except for maybe the slightest line sometimes seen beneath the carapace. This and that the Royal White SSSS Crystal Shrimp is worth far more than a Golden because of it's extreme rare availability!

However, 95% of orders which are for shrimp only are typically shipped USPS Priority by the choice of our customers and I havn't had one loss yet. if saving money is more important to you, this could be an option but just know you forfeit your arriva alive guarantee. Just use good judgement based on the weather between So.California where they are being shipped from to you. If you don't know the weather conditions, you can always check here where they can provide up to a 10 forecast.
Southern Californians & Lower Nevada Customers: Because our Farm is here in the Los Angeles basin, you can choose UPS Ground and it will get to you in one day.
Northern California, Upper Nevada, Utah and Arizona will arrive in 2 days in most cases via UPS Ground.
All other States including the most northern part of Nevada should consider USPS Priority for guaranteed 2-3 day service if you can't afford next day service as we recommend.
