These plants do particularly well in brackish or saltwater and are found as nature's filter all over the world along marshes, estuaries, beach fronts and other waterways.

These high quality Red Mangroves imported from Florida may be placed directly into your tank or used in a sump or refugium.  They do best if rooted in sand or mud but don't need it as can be seen in the picture to the right.  Provide plenty of light and knock out your bothersome algae, nitrate and toxin problems!

NOTE:  These are "Mangrove Pods" which means they are juvinal small stocks with little or no roots or leaves.  Just plant them in the sand and they'll grow out in a month or so under good lighting.

Suggested use:  1 Mangrove per 10 gallons of water in the main tank.
