Deal Or No Deal..whats In The Box?

You've seen it on other sites, we aren't the first to offer this but it's become very popular and we also have a lot of crap to get rid of.  Bottom line is that all wholesalers do tend to accumulate tons and tons of "crap" around the warehouse and don't know how to get rid of it.  Often brand new items that maybe were discontinued but only have one or two left over, maybe something found obsolete, supplements, medicines, left over parts, used or abandoned customer product that was on consignment, samples, computer equipment or supplies from our office, items that came back from a broken shipment like a nano cube but the ballast and or lights are still good, unassembled items, over stock we need to get rid of, etc.

Give me a Hint Please:  LOL... Nope.  I'm not going to even tell you how large of a box you are going to get!  Sometimes they are huge 25kg boxes, sometimes a small 7" square but remember (great things do really come in small boxes).  However I will say that we will intentionally throw in at least one or more items making some buyers boxes worth in excess of $200 at least once a day and is done completely random!  I can also say that we have truely sent out a few boxes worth over $1000 with items like the Octopus 3000 Aquatic Computer System, Metal Halides, etc.  Boxes are completely random with one exception.  There are times when we get orders from Southern California consumers or those who upgrade their shipping to faster 2nd day or next day air shipping.  Yes, I will say we often try to keep some cool items with making no promises here, coral frags, copepods, phytoplanktons, frozen fish foods, or other perishables that need fast shipping to make it.  The only reason there are some specific boxes set aside for fast shippers or southern californians, is simply because if you can get the box in a day (Californian's get their product in less than 2 days from being shipped) Even when picking UPS Ground shipping, we feel okay about putting live things in the boxes.  Again, no promises here and don't want to mislead anyone.  It's what ever we have laying around and interested in clearing out of our warehouse.  Perishables like live coral, a fish or two, LRI Copepods, Live Phytoplankton, Frozen Foods, etc.  This is about the only exception but again, we don't guarantee that either.

I'll also give you a tip!  Typically you can get up to 3 boxes for nearly the same shipping price as one in most destinations as 1, so be sure to look at the difference in the shipping calculator of shipping one box compared to three.  You'll often find they are the same or very near the same!

ONE MORE NOTE:  Some items are LARGE OR EXPENSIVE in value!  It's up to our discretion on how we box, what size boxes we use, the shape of the boxes, weight, etc. but in our oppinion if the item is worth atleast if not far more than you paid for it, we may send just that one item out because the size, weight or shear value of the item itself exceeds the value of most boxes.  Here's an example... Some people may get a average sized box chuck full of small items like airstones, airpumps, aquarium decore', artificial corals, aquarium bulkheads or what ever but we also send out high dollar items like Metal Halides, Titanium Heaters, Big or valuable water pumps like Pentair Quite One Pumps, Little Giant, etc or maybe and I have done this a few times where I've put very high dollar items in such as Octopus 4000 Aquarium Computerized Systems, Computerized Auto-dosers, or other.  These items take up a lot of space and the sheer cost to ship it alone will often come close to what you paid so in a few boxes as long as we feel the value exceeds it and often it does by more the double easily, we may put only one item if it is worth it in a box to a lucky customer.  Again, these are things like Titanium heaters, pumps, filter systems, lighting systems, large or long replacement bulbs, etc.  Email me if you have any questions.  Thanks!

Important Note:  

In short, this is a special item where we typically stack some valued items in every box based on knowing 90% of our customers have to pay for shipping as well on this item so to counter that, we put even more valued items in our BOC's.  Because of this, we can't offer the same deal to local will-call pickups.  I had pet centers coming down asking to buy everything we had in stock so now we charge a $10 surcharge for each box ordered only on those picking up locally in person.  This is per each box.  If you are shipping however, there is no surcharge.

This is also obviously a clearance sale.  All sales are final and there are no returns, refunds, or exchanges.  That's the whole point of this offer is to get rid of overstock inventory and we purposely throw in every box some very cool stuff but the crap goes along with it as advertised what ever it may be.  Expect even a "white elephant" surprise also.  I've seen the guys in the warehouse get crazy and throw some funky stuff in these boxes completely as a joke but not without having some very cool things also.  Enjoy and hope you don't go crazy waiting for the box to arrive from curiousity...lol
