The coral catshark (Atelomycterus marmoratus) is a species of catshark, family Scyliorhinidae, found in the Indo-West Pacific oceans from Pakistan to southern China and Taiwan. Its length is up to 70 cm. About 27.6 inches.

ReproductionFemales reach sexual maturity when about 20" long. They lay purse-shaped egg cases, usually two at a time, with tendrils to anchor the cases to the bottom. The pups, about 4" long at birth, are rarely encountered. They probably spend their time sequestered within the reef, out of the way of predators.

In aquariaCoral catsharks are commonly kept species in the saltwater aquarium trade. In captivity they can live to be 20 years old. They have also been bred successfully in home aquaria. The females lay two tendril egg cases at a time. These egg cases hatch into four inch long pups. Captive coral cat sharks tend to be "inactive and reclusive" diurnally, at night they are more vigorous. Coral cat sharks are often more aggressive than other shark species held in personal aquaria and are known to attack tankmates even if that tank mate is too large for them to fully consume.
