The Colt Coral has a brown, tan, cream color. Soft coral Carnivore. It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis Shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open.. The Cladiella species is generally aggressive toward other tankmates. Many consider the Cladiella species a low-maintenance specimen. Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. The Blushing Coral, Soft Finger Leather, Colt Soft Coral requires intermediate water flow. Will sting other organisms near it, so give it space. Be sure to rinse off with clean saltwater before placing into aquarium to reduce slime runoff as this organism secretes a mucous during shipment. Can detach frags to reproduce. Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). The Colt Coral is commonly collected from Indo-Pacific. Due to variations in growth of Corals from depth, environment, flow, etc. it is impossible to pinpoint exact sizes. These sizes are very approximate and will not apply in all situations.SMALL is generally smaller than a baseball, MEDIUM is generally smaller than a softball and LARGE is generally larger than a softball.
