(depending on season and other factors they may arrive yellow, black, red, gold, orange or any mix of these but they are colored seahorses and will change their colors frequently)

The Hippocampus reidi grows up to 12 inches.  Seahorses generally come to you between 5 - 6 inches.  The Reidi Seahorse prefers a tank of at least 30 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.  The Hippocampus reidi is a carnivore and likes to eat variety of inverts (Mysis Shrimp, daphnia guppies, grass shrimp, mosquito larva) a few times/day.  The Reidi Seahorse is a high maintenance fish.  The Reidi Seahorse may act peacefully toward other fish.  This is a moderately hardy fish  Able to breed.  Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).  Tank Raised.  Our Reidi Seahorses are Captively bred. The seahorses are eating Mysis Shrimp and have excellent coloration and are very active.
