The Clove Polyps has a brown, tan, green color. Polyp Carnivore. It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis Shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open.. The Clavularia species is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates. Many consider the Clavularia species a low-maintenance specimen. Not venomous. Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. The Green Glove Polyps, Eight Tentacle Polyps, Encrusting Polyps requires intermediate water flow. The Clove Polyp is an easy coral that will encrust rocks and is very easy to frag and share with your fellow hobbyist friends. Great coral for a new tank or beginner. Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). The Clove Polyps is commonly collected from Indonesia. Due to variations in growth of Corals from variations in depth, environment, flow, etc. it is impossible to pinpoint exact sizes. These sizes are very approximate and will not apply in all situations.
