These are brought in as adults unless you would like babies but they are already mature at breeder size to start producing a natural live food right away for you.
LRI Mollies are tank born and raised in "Full Saltwater Tanks" for specific reasons. Some hobbyists simply love keeping them or maybe they are your first step into a marine hobby before spending the big bucks. Others use them to cycle newly established tanks but a very popular use is to use marine mollies which can be kept amoungst your fish or sepperated into another tank or breeder trap for their babies. There are many small mouth feeders such as baby cuttlefish, baby octopus, Seahorses, Pipefish, etc that require very small live foods and these bring you very close to real life nature insuring their survival! Much more nutritous than empty cyst cells like brine shrimp, etc they will ensure your success as a live food for picky feeders. Guppies, Goldfish and most other freshwater fish can't last more than a minute or two in a marine tank before they die and then just aren't interesting to many fish (like octopus, cuttlefish, seahorses, pipefish, etc) that will only hunt down and prey on natural live fish.
Other than standard acclimation, there is no long wait to transfer freshwater mollies to marine over a month or more to try to get them to live well in a marine tank. That's all these guys are kept in on our farm as they are used to grow out our marine baby fish mentioned above for our tank raised only fish.
Feel free to specify in your order how many males or females you need. We will get the order taken care of.
