It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis Shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open.. The Favites species is generally aggressive toward other tankmates. Many consider the Favites species a low-maintenance specimen. Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism.

The Brain Coral Closed Pinapple, Pineapple, Moon, Closed Brain, or Honeycomb Coral requires intermediate water flow. Will sting other organisms near it, so give it space.
