The Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura grows up to 3 inches.  This fish will come to you generally around 2 to 3 inches.  The Blue Head Fairy Wrasse prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.  The Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura is a carnivore and likes to eat variety of meats (fish, scallop, shrimp, squid, clam).  The Blue Head Fairy Wrasse is a medium maintenance fish.  The Blue Head Fairy Wrasse may act peacefully toward other fish.  This is a hardy fish.  Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).  indo-Pacific.  The Blue Barred Fairy Wrasse needs a tank with lots of rockwork and caves as this is where it hides when frightened, they also create a cacoon of "slime" at night to sleep in. An excellent substitute for harder to keep Anthias, Blue Barred Fairy Wrasses are happiest in schools and are a bright addition to any peaceful system. Will school with chromis and other schooling fish.
