Black and White False Ocellaris Clown - Amphiprion ocellaris

The Amphiprion ocellaris grows up to 4 inches. Only available in small size; 1 to 2 inches. The False Ocellaris Clown prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. The Amphiprion ocellaris is a omnivore and likes to eat variety of foods (meats & veggies). The False Ocellaris Clown is a medium maintenance fish. The False Ocellaris Clown may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Able to breed. Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Indo-Pacific. Tank Bred (Australia) Coexists with Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla mertensii, or S. gigantea. Amphiprion ocellaris, Cuvier 1830, the "False" Percula or Clown Anemonefish, or Ocellaris Clown. Differs in both geographical distribution and morphological characteristics from the Percula Anemonefish. A hardy addition to the aquarium, but always at its best when there are sea anemones in the tank. Clownfishes have everything going for them as aquarium specimens. The Black and White Ocellaris will ship as juveniles and will be dark honey color with white stripes, will mature into a black body, white stripes and an orange face.
