The Maiden's Hair Plant has a green color. It likes to eat Filter Feeder. The Caulerpa species is generally peaceful toward other tankmates. The Maiden's Hair Plant comes to you attached on a rock that is roughly the size of a closed fist. The green filamentous algae, similar to tufts of coarse hair, contains a toxic coating that deters herbivorous fish from eating it. Maidens Hair Plant serves as a safe and attractive place for desireable crustaceans like amphipods and copepods to live in. Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).
