It makes it possible to view nocturnal animals at the time they are naturally active and it can also reduce the stress and shock that may occur during the hours of darkness. Moonlight is a major factor in the reproductive cycle of many corals and the controlled use of Aquamoonlight may encourage spawning. The unit has two special light emitting diodes, and is low voltage operated.
