The Pomacanthus annularis grows up to 12 inches.  small 2 to 3; inches; medium 3 to 4; inches; Sizes may vary slightly due to availability.  The Annularis Angel (Juv) prefers a tank of at least 70 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.  The Pomacanthus annularis is a omnivore and likes to eat Omnivore and likes to feed on marine algae, mysid shrimp, Spirulina, Sponges and other fresh or frozen seafoods. The diet of al larger angels consists heavily of sponge material, so it is recommended to feed "Angel Formula" by: Ocean Nutition, which has a very high sponge percentage mixed in the food.  The Annularis Angel (Juv) is a medium maintenance fish.  The Annularis Angel (Juv) may act semi-aggressively toward other fish.  This is a fairly hardy fish.  Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F).  Western Indo-Pacific, and East Coast of Africa.  Pomacanthus annularis (Bloch 1787), the Blue-Ringed Angelfish. An oft-neglected beauty that is surprisingly hardy. Pomacanthus angels should not be mixed with other Pomacanthus angels, unless it is in a tank of at least 180 gallons. This beautiful Angel can be a little shy, and secretive when first added to the tank but will become more aggressive over time. However, they can be a very Interesting specimen for the Larger Aquariums housing Semi Aggressive specimens. It is usually best to keep this Angel without other Full sized Angels, as they can be very territorial. As Juveniles the coloration is predominantly blue, with 3-4 vertical white bars. Upon maturity the color shifts to golden brown with blue stripes running the length of the fish. Juveniles though actually will adapt to the captive environment easier than the adults will, as they are more apt to try various foods.
