company was always in extreme demand and we had to unfortunately
turn down about 80% of our work at that just because of the

Aquarium
Maintenance - Standards our distributors live by.
Keeping an aquarium isn't as easy
as just cleaning off the glass of algae and doing a water change
like so many service companies and pet shop employees do.
Here at Oceanpro Aquatics, Inc., our distributors have extremely high quality
standards to which they abide by. First off, wiping the
algae off the glass doesn't kill it any more than pulling a weed
out of your grass and throwing it back down into the soil, so
why is that exactly what is done by everyone else? While
cleaning algae off the walls of your system, we utilize
specialized equipment based on the size of your tank such as a
commercial grade Vortex Micron Filter that is used by many pet shops
to polish their water. On larger systems, we utilize the
Pentair Quad Service Cart with three micron filter systems and
40watts of Ultra Violate Sterilization to kill off and remove
the algae from your tank, not let it fall back to the gravel
bottom. We are almost exclusive in this technology because
of the cost of such equipment costing upward of $10,000!
This is just one of the reasons we are the nations leading professionals in the
industry. We don't skimp on our customers to save a dollar
but instead believe if we provide the very best in service, we
will be referred over and over again in addition to keeping our
customers long term.
Water
changes could be as simple as bucketing out and replacing your
water with tap water, but we utilize a utility called a Python
system to vacuum out all debris and detris from your gravel
while leaving the beneficial bacteria in your gravel bed at the
same time. This removes the fish waste and natural fertilizers algae
thrive on as well as provides excellent water conditions for
your pets. If we are working with a freshwater tank,
Reverse Osmosis or RO water is used that has been deionized,
Mechanically and Chemically treated for optimum replacement.
If we are working with a saltwater or reef systems, true ocean
purified ocean water by Catalina Water™ is used to replace
the specific gravity, salinity, trace elements and nutrients to the system
by utilizing real ocean water. In either
case, vitamins, trace elements, dechlorinators, and regularly
added beneficial bacterium and enzymes are added back to the
system.
Chemistry
is the next most important aspect. Most Aquarium Service
Companies only check your Nitrate and pH. If not done on site, your water
is brought back to our facility lab for a professional
analysis consisting of numerous readings in order to get the
whole picture of everything occurring in your system. We
inspect such items but not limited to Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate,
pH, Redox, Copper, Dissolved Oxygen levels, CO2 levels,
Salinity, Temperature Consistency, Conductivity, Specific
Gravity, gH German Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Iodine, and
other levels as is needed based on the level of service you've
requested.
Tired
of your tank looking the same all the time? Never changes

For a small additional fee, you'll never buy anymore corals,
plants, or other aquarium décor. On each service or per
your contractual agreement from what you request in your
service, we will bring you a fresh and new set of Corals and
Décor at each service call. This means not only will you
come home to find an impressive tank, but also be happily
surprised by the way it's appearance doesn't get boring as the
features always change.
As Corals get brittle and break, plants get drab looking and
faded. We simply keep replacing them with brand new ones!
Your tank will always look like a brand new system and you'll
continue to enjoy impressing your family and friends.
Did
I mention contracts? Yes I did. Everything is always
in writing so you are secure with our promises we make you.
But be assured that you are not obligated to any lengthy
contract term. We only ask that you use us for at least
three (3) months at least once during each month to prove how
valuable we can be to you and as an incentive, you give you a
much better deal on your service rate than those paying hourly
who keep us "On Call". This gives us a fair
amount of time to prove ourselves to you how good we really are
and if we don't meet or exceed your expectations, you are on no
additional commitment to continue on with us. On the other hand, if you only want
someone to come out once each three (3) months, we will be happy

Other
important aspects are that you are hiring experienced
professionals that during each service call, inspect your fish
and pets for over all health and 90% of the time, we will catch
anything occurring before it becomes terminal. We even
have "ISOMED" (Isolation and Medication) Holding tanks at our
facility so we can isolate a sick fish and help bring it back to
health while keeping it from your other community and preventing
the inevitability of having to expose all other tropical fish
and pets to the disease. Your Systems mechanical equipment
is also completely inspected at every service and suggestions
and work sheets are noted of all necessary replacements or
repairs that might need to be addressed. You won't have to
worry about O-Rings getting old, cracking and leaking anymore,
PVC leaks, Check valve failures, lubricant needs, and the often
over looked Ultra Violate Sterilizer System and System Lighting
bulb replacement which should be performed every 6-12 months.
All these things are brought to you at no extra charge other
than installation charges if they apply. Live Stock and
