Sand Quality? Just as with our liverock, we take extreme measures
to deliver to you as quickly as possible under temperature controlled
conditions, we pay extra for well packed containers and ship
as possible to be certain your not getting just wet sand, but
real, live sand! In addition, Oceanpro carries some grades of
livesand not found anywhere else! You must see our list of livesand!
There’s really more than just one kind and did you know
there is livesand for freshwater as well as salt? There is and
only Oceanpro carries it!
Livestock Quality? We pay a bit
more and make less profit than our competitors so don’t
be fooled. We buy “Net or Hand Caught Fish & Livestock
Only”, period, end of story! Anyone found selling us chemically
caught fish or other animals are cut off and we will never do
business with them again. No games! We back our fish up with
a live arrival and stay alive guarantee! Because we are so extremely
picky with our fish and have only the best collectors working
for us, they compete to beat out their competition (other collectors)
by hand selecting each fish, bagging them separately and shipping
them directly to us. Has that for quality? Well, still not good
enough for us! We then hold the fish for a 2 week period first
in isomed (Isolation / Medication) tanks where the fish are
quarantined in U/V Sterilized systems, treated for all diseases,
are fed heavily on high protein diets and are re-inspected before
sending to their final homes - you, our customer.
